How to create password-reset disk in vista

this post is not a main post.it is just used for completion of topic from another post.referring it directly does no harm though.

Windows Vista password reset disk can really help you when you have forgotten your account password.with the reset disk you can easily reset the password and start using your vista account.

It is better to create a password recovery disk when you create a password for your account.
following steps will show you how to create a password recovery disk.

Difficulty: Too Easy

Time Required: 4-5 mins

Basic things needed:

• External storage device preferably flash drive or a floppy disk
• password for the vista user account

Step 1:click on the start button and go to control panel.

step 2:click on the user and family safety link

step 3: Insert the external storage device now.

In the task bar on the left side of the screen click on the Create a password reset disk

click on next button in the welcome to forgotten password wizard window

step 4: select the external drive where you want to store the password.

step 5: enter the current password you use to log into vista user account.

step 6:you will see a creating a reset password disk window.

• once you have created password reset disk anyone can use the same disk to gain entry into your account no matter how many times you change your password.so keep it secured.
