you should cover part 1 to continue reading
creating flash animation banners (part 2)
step 1:
decide on the size of flash banner and choose the images.you can see the 3 images below and i am building a banner of size 700*200.
step 2:
run adobe flash cs3 professional.this is how the ide looks for the first time.under create new>> choose flash file (action script 3.0).you will now see the flash ide.
step 3:
near the bottom of the ide,you will find properties>>filters>>parameters.select the properties tab.(default selection is properties).set the size of the file to 700*200 pixels by clicking on size button.change the frame rate to 24.click on ok.
step 4:
click on file, and under imports choose import to library.now browse to the folder containing images and select those images and click open.u should see those images under the library column to the bottom right of ide.
step 5:
from the library drag the first image on to the stage.the size of the image may not match with the size of banner but no need to open another editor to edit the image.adobe flash has given an option to resize.at the bottom of ide edit the values of width w,height h, and set the x and y co-ordinate to zero.you can lock the place by clicking on the lock image at the right side.
step 6:
select the image by clicking the image on the stage.now click on insert in the toolbar above and choose insert timeline effects and under that choose transition as shown in the figure.you can see a new window pop-up.you can play with the settings there and choose your favorite transition.i personally don’t like “wipe “feature ,so i am turning it off.please suit your needs.

step 7:
for the every new image, you will be adding a new layer.right click on the current layer and insert new layer.leave out 10 frames before first effect ends, that is ,choose 2oth frame ,right click and choose insert blank key frame as shown below, notice that layer 2 is selected.
step 8:
now go back to step 5 and place second image.but select 60 frames for transition effect this time as shown in the figure.
step 9:
for third image ,go back to step 5,but you will be having 2 transitions here in the same layer. in first transition (30 frames) “from out of nowhere to a slow rise” effect and “bright image to disappearing effect” for next 30 frames.
step 10:
insert a new layer, and insert blank keyframe on the frame which is twenty frames before the end of the effect in the previous frame.drag the very first image you placed and get the “from out of nowhere to slow rise ” effect for next 30 frames.. press ctrl+enter to test the movie.
i have made my sincere efforts to explain this as clearly as pssible.even if you get half of what i said you can still play around and get the job done.if you still dont get it,send me the pics ill send back the flash swf file a.s.a.p
ill be uploading the final video soon.
